The fastest way to get help is email. Tell us what happened and, if possible, which screen you were on — a screenshot speeds things up enormously.
/ 02 Response times
VBPT is built and maintained by a single developer in Portugal. Most messages get a response within 24–48 hours, often sooner. If you haven’t heard back in a week, please reply to the same thread to bump it — sometimes mail filters do strange things.
/ 03 Reporting a bug
To help us reproduce a problem quickly, please include:
- What you were trying to do — the screen and the action.
- What happened instead — including any error messages.
- Your device & iOS version — e.g. “iPhone 14, iOS 17.4”.
- The app version — found under Settings → About inside the app.
- A screenshot, if the issue is visual.
If the app crashed, a short description of what you tapped just before is enormously helpful — it lets us match your report against our crash reports far more quickly.
/ 04 Data & results
Standings, fixtures and results are fetched from official sources published by the Portuguese volleyball federation and its associated leagues. We refresh as often as the upstream feeds allow.
If a result looks wrong, the first step is usually to force-refresh the relevant screen by pulling down. If the issue persists, drop us a note — we’ll check whether the source data is wrong, or whether something in the app needs fixing.

How do I report a bug or incorrect data?
Send an email to vbpt.app@gmail.com describing what you saw and where. The details above (device, iOS version, app version, screenshot) make a huge difference.
Standings or results look outdated — what now?
Pull down on the screen to force a refresh. If it’s still wrong an hour later, the upstream feed may be behind — send us a quick note and we’ll check.
Do I need an account to use VBPT?
No. Everything — favorites included — works without signing in. Favorites are stored on-device.
Will my favorite teams sync to another device?
Not yet. Favorites are kept locally on each device. iCloud sync is on the roadmap.
Is the app available on Android?
Currently iPhone & iPad only. An Android version isn’t promised, but it’s being considered — let us know if you want one.
Why are there ads, and can I remove them?
VBPT is free, and ads keep it that way. A one-time “remove ads” option may arrive in a future release.
Which leagues are covered?
All major Portuguese volleyball championships managed by the FPV — men’s and women’s first divisions, Taça, supertaça and regional divisions where official data is published.
Does VBPT work offline?
Recently-viewed data stays cached so you can revisit it without a connection, but live updates obviously need one.
